Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia will donate their blood in order to help children with leukemia and other serious diseases voluntarily, setting an example for all Georgians.
Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs issued a memorandum with the Blood Bank at the National Medical Center named after academician O. Gudushauri and the Institute of Hematology and Transfusiology – Medinvest. If necessary, the blood donated will be given to women in labor, babies and patients who have received various injuries during extreme situations and to any other patients that might require it.
The employees of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs have been donating blood for children with leukemia for several years, and wants the people of Georgia to follow in those footsteps, to set an example for the whole world.
