The regulations on the introduction of visa-free travel for citizens of Georgia have been officially signed in Brussels.

The document was signed by Antonio Tajani, the President of the European Parliament, and Chris Agius, the Parliamentary Secretary of Malta.

The event was attended by Georgian PM Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze and State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Viktor Dolidze.

The final change on the introduction of visa-free travel for citizens of Georgia was made to the regulation on February 27. The revised regulation will be published in the Official Journal in a few days, after which, within 20 days, the citizens of Georgia will be able to travel visa-free to the Schengen member states.
